I think they are Sooooo worth the money. Just remember to read the instructions on them . This helps make them last a very long time. They smell just by leaving the lid off.
No! Yankee candles are paraffin wax which is a petroleum product. I only use soy/veggie wax candles. They are cleaner burning and longer lasting than any other candle on the market. Contact me and I’ll send you some info.
I think so!!! My favorite is Home Sweet Home! I get the really big jar and it lasts forever!! I mean, I burn it all the time and have had it for months, and there is plenty left! They even smell good just with the lid off when they are not being burned!! The tea lights and votive candles do not last very long to me, but the jar ones do!
YES! My hubby and I took a trip out to the quaint little town I lived in as a child in MA to see the autumn leaves. It was really close to the Yankee Candle Company’s factory/giant shop (it’s almost a village! lol.). I payed about $20 per candle, I think. SO worth it! I think that there cannot be a better candle maker anywhere.
Get their candles from their “Housewarmer” line. They are the strongest scented candles. A candle shade or two really tops them off nicely and you can leave the candles out in the open as home decor. I still have one of mine and we made that trip 3 years ago. Definitely time to buy some more.
Ooh, saw Autumn’s note…I love Sage and Citrus, too, AND Lemon Zest!
No.
I believe the cost of the candles should go by the type of wax used.
Paraffin candles do not burn well and burn very fast, making them expensive in the long run.
Beeswax candles burn very efficiently and therefore end up costing less in the long run.
You should try burning beeswax candles, they are better for you and last far longer.
YES!!! They smell sooo good. Not like cheap candles where you can’t actually smell them burning. They fill the whole room & if you burn them per the instuctions (candles have a time limit to be lit) they last for a really long time.
I recommend :
Sage & Citrus
McIntosh
Tulips
Clean linen
Yankee Candles put off soot even if you trim the wicks.
Mia Bella Candles are comparable in price but their is virtually no soot. I did not believe it at first. Fragrances about 3 rooms in my house. Burn cooler so they last longer. There are about 90 scents but I like Gingerbread, Cinnamon Raisin Bun, and Creme Brulee. No soot on jars, walls, air. Who wants a candle that is black all over the jar if you burn it very long.
My wife seems to think so. She wastes…..I mean spends a lot of money on them and claims they’re worth the extra money over the cheaper ones.
they are good candles but you can get ones just as good at places like a.c. moore. they are in the same big glass jar, smell just as good and if you catch them on sale you can get them for about $3.50.
Yes when you burn a yankee candle you can actually smell the fragrance . Yankee Car freshners are great also
