Can I push the unused candle wax down into the candle and use that wax?

I have this candle and it burned straight down, leaving a circle only half the size of the candle being used. So what do I do with the leftover wax? Can I break up the unused wax and push it into the hole and relight the candle? Or, I don’t know? What do i do?

The wick on the candle will be too short if you do that., is the candle in a jar? If it is you can put the jar in a pan of water, be sure to put a wash cloth in the bottom of the pan so the jar won’t crack, then set the jar in and set burner on med heat and melt the candle down, when the wax is melted remove the old wick and pour out part of the candle into another glass or jar and put back in the hot water and turn down heat, put the new wick in the candle jar, I usually wrap the top of the wick around a pencil and lay the pencil across the top of the jar to stabilize the wick and keep it centered, when the wax that is in the jar sets up, pour remaining wax over the top, this will avoid having dips and uneven top on the candle….good luck
